JátékMester Élményprogram was first commissioned by Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden to organise a summer camp in 2003. Since then we have been providing eventful holidays for more and more children every year. Our Zoo Camp is popular with both children and their parents mainly because while children are spending their well-deserved holiday with us, they can also learn a lot in a playful way.

Taking part in our programmes involves getting close to animals, getting to know their habits and the way they are kept in the zoo. This way, children can develop respect for animals and a sense of responsibility for the environment they live in.

Besides organising varied and playful activities, it is also our goal to raise an awareness of nature in children, and teach them about the importance of environment protection and the preservation of animals.

A team of qualified teachers and zoo experts help children to learn about animals. Participants will meet animals from the Australia House, the Palm House, the Elephant House and the South America House as well. Besides animal programmes, children will also take part in games and handicraft activities.
